Seeds for Ukraine is a charitable endeavor driven by the team of Hopscotch Montessori, an international network of Montessori schools. Since its establishment in 2008 by Iryna Drozdovska, Hopscotch Montessori has offered exceptional education and nurturing environments to children in the United States and Europe. At Hopscotch, we've always been dedicated to supporting children's growth, development and overall well-being. For years now, our community has come together at the annual Winter Charity Fair and Lemonade Day event, where parents, students, and teachers from all campuses unite with a common purpose - to raise funds for Tabletochki, Ukraine's leading charity fund dedicated to supporting children battling cancer.

The invasion in Ukraine in February 2022, compelled us to suspend our operations in Kyiv, so our focus shifted to assisting and supporting Ukrainian refugee children. Through continuous efforts, we are committed to ensuring their relocation to Montessori schools across Europe and America.

Seeds for Ukraine's core mission is to revive educational prospects for the children of Ukraine. We recognize the unique role children play in shaping not only our communities but also the future itself. By providing these young minds with nurturing and supportive learning environments, we believe we can make a positive and lasting impact on their lives and those of the generations to come. Additionally, we extend our support to families directly impacted by the ongoing war and the challenging post-war circumstances, which have led to restricted access to education, medical care, and childcare services.
